Information collected automatically
The website and its hosting provider may process basic technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, requested pages, and general performance or security data. This information helps the website operate reliably, prevent misuse, and understand overall performance.
If Google Analytics or Google Ads measurement is enabled, those services are used only after you make a privacy choice through the website banner. You can reopen Privacy choices in the footer at any time when those tools are active.
How information is used
Information is used to review and respond to inquiries, recommend an appropriate website scope, communicate about potential or active projects, provide requested services, maintain necessary business records, measure website performance, and protect the website from spam, fraud, or abuse.
Service providers
Limited information may be processed by trusted providers that help operate the website. These currently include Vercel for hosting, security, and performance measurement, and Resend for delivery of inquiry and confirmation emails. Google may process measurement data if optional Google Analytics or Ads tools are enabled and you allow them.
Sharing and selling information
Websites by Sam does not sell the personal information submitted in project inquiries. Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate the website and deliver services, or when required to comply with law, protect rights, or prevent misuse.
Data retention and security
Inquiry information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for communication, project planning, service delivery, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by Websites by Sam, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. You may also decline optional Google measurement through the privacy banner when it is present.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for business owners and adults seeking website services. It is not directed to children under 13, and Websites by Sam does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
